About Us

In-the-trenches, hands-on, well-earned experience … that’s what we offer you. We opened our business in 2005, dedicating ourselves to “helping people … taking care of business.” Employment Edge is locally owned by Todd (TJ) Person and Kent and Luanne Alberty. Together, these three owners provide a wide range of business and staffing knowledge. The combined expertise that the three founders bring to Employment Edge includes 30+ years in:
• Owning and operating a small business
• Retail operations
• Human resources and staffing
• Collections
• Payroll and bookkeeping

Active in the community, TJ serves as board chair for the Sioux Empire Safety Village. He is a product of Dakota State College and a U.S. Army veteran. Linda

Linda Hallstrom
Have you ever wondered what happens to “old English teachers”? Sometimes they go to work for their former students. Linda Hallstrom (aka “Miss Wickre”) was Kent’s high school English teacher. As front office manager, she is still making sure that Kent dots his i’s and crosses his t’s. With her background in education, public relations and journalism, she is a valuable asset to our business.

Donna Bowden
Donna helped us set up our front office and implemented several systems that keep us operating efficiently. Donna is enjoying traveling, attending her grandchildren’s activities, and spending time at the lake cabin. She comes in to “rescue” us when we need an extra hand. That’s right … Donna is our very own “talented and terrific temp!”
